What kind of sorcery is this? Where did all the carbs and sugar go?
We spent over a year working through hundreds of formulations in a quest to recreate our favorite childhood cereals without the junk. We eventually figured out a way to include all of the good stuff you want—like protein and healthy fats—without any of the bad stuff you don’t.
Why is this more expensive than “regular” cereal?
Even though Magic Spoon looks and tastes like familiar cereals, it is completely different. In fact, it’s nutritionally more similar to a high-end protein bar or keto smoothie than it is to most cereals.

Is this cereal keto-friendly?
Yes. Magic Spoon is perfect for anyone on a ketogenic or low carb diet. Each serving has just 4g net carbs, and only 0.5-1.5g saturated fats from a blend of high-oleic sunflower oil and avocado oil.
In fact, one of the reasons we created this in the first place is that we couldn’t find a healthy cereal to fit into our low carb lifestyles, and we missed our childhood cereals more than anything else (yes, even pizza).
Do kids eat/like Magic Spoon?
Absolutely! And since it tastes just like their favorite “unhealthy” cereal, they’ll love eating this instead of other “healthy” cereals.
What are net carbs?
Not all carbs are created equal. Fiber and (most) natural sweeteners don’t affect your blood sugar, so they’re stripped out to get “net carbs,” which you can think of as the active carbs that affect your body.
In our case, net carbs = total carbs - allulose - fiber.
How big is a case of this cereal?
One case is 4 individual boxes—each with 5 servings of delicious cereal.
Of course, if you’re anything like us and enjoy cereal for breakfast, snacks, and if we’re being honest, occasionally for dinner, then a one month supply might magically disappear in a couple of weeks!
