I hope this becomes a new permanent option in the future. I could always go for more protein AND fiber.
As I crash in the afternoon, I reach for a handful or a couple to check the hunger and it's so much better than a sugar-laden item. I don't have the let down an hour later.
Adding fiber to what's already a good product is a great idea! We really liked the cinnamon better than the regular, so goes it for the honey/oats, but we didn't like the fiber one better than the original fruity which was too bad. The texture of each kind is much more crunchy which is good. It definitely holds up longer in milk than the original. The colors of the fiber fruity were oddly dark, and not really appetizing, but that doesn't matter if the taste is great, which sadly, it was not for us. But it might be for you, since we really like the cinnamon and honey/oats. We'll be back for more of those two, and hope there's a chocolate one soon!
As title states, I do prefer the texture of the fiber version over the original formulation/protein cereal. Very similar to Catalina crunch high protein cereal as far as nutrition, texture goes. Would like to see more flavors available. I had seen these in a Whole Foods several months ago, and was anticipating them to be released online. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
I have a disabled adult son whose dietary restrictions took away a lot of his favorite breakfast foods & snacks, and he was struggling with the feeling of deprivation and with the change of his life-long routine having access to cereal. So I started getting him Magic Spoon. He really loves it, and it helps him maintain the low-carb sugar-free diet because he's found a familiar favorite to enjoy-- cereal. He loves the S'mores flavor, but he says he would give them all 5/5 so there you are.
